If you have hard to floss teeth then you need to try these dental floss picks. They're mint flavored but it is not too strong. What's strong is the line that you use to floss with. It is strong and it is so much easier to floss with. Especially if you have teeth that are close together this is the type of floss you need to use. I asked my dentist if this was comparable to regular flossing and he said it was fine. I get excellent reports on my gums every time I go in. These nifty ones are individually packed so you can put them in your purse or pocket. I have had the containers that you can put and carry them in before but they always end up in the bottom of my purse because the container comes open every time for some reason. Very aggravating. They are great for stashing in your purse, or keeping in a desk drawer. Each is individually wrapped to keep them clean. These floss picks are pretty straightforward, but could be improved a bit. The individual picks are pretty sturdy but have some slight give when really pressing - I wish they were a bit stronger. The floss included is also on the thick side, so I have trouble getting it between tight pairs of teeth. The packaging is pretty good - sterile and separate, but it feels slightly excessive to have this very large box of picks for such small things. Not sure there's a better alternative, but certainly takes up much more room than a roll of floss. The mint flavor is pretty light and not really noticeable. I'm not sure I'd buy these again, but I think some users might love them.

I had one get stuck between two teeth that were pretty tight, and I tried cutting the floss with scissors to remove it and it wouldn't cut. It ended up coming out on its own while I was trying, which says a lot about how durable the thread is. True to the listing, it doesn't shred.
